Lots of info. This book is a condensation of C & S: The Basic Science of Toxicology, a much more voluminous work. If you have access to both volumes, you need to refer to the bigger book for explanation of items where the smaller book is deficient. For someone who has never had a course in biological molecular chemistry, this book is tough going at times, but the info is all there.
The book is very detailed. You can find a lot of information in this book, but it is very dry to read. There is so much detail and information it is difficult to read for long, this is coming from a person who reads books on a regular basis. However, would recommend for the content.
I was a bit conflicted on how to rate this...The SELLER was great: I received the product I ordered in a timely manner, in the listed condition, at a reasonable price. No complaints there.The BOOK, however, is not my favorite. I don't believe that it is well written: the organization is confusing at times, there are details that are skipped that may make things difficult to understand, and overall... I really hate this book. It's made my semester of toxicology more difficult than it already inherently is - I've spent just as much time Googling the topics as reading about them
This book is much better than their bigger version because it covers just the essentials that you need to know. It explain things clearly and is interesting as far as textbooks go.
The thing is that I am taking a toxicology course currently, so I decided to get some material related, and the professors use the full version of this book for this course, so I just wanted a shorter and quick reference of it, and this one does the job pretty well, so if you aren't interested in buying the hard cover & full version of the book, this one could be a perfect alternative of this classic, so do not hesitate to get it!

An essential textbook for Industrial Hygienists and Safety Engineers. A basic part of my library..
I consider the product is a colorful effort to condense the basic knowledge of toxicology. I find it interesting and clear.
